We are proud to announce that we have aligned with ZERO to raise money exclusively for the newly created JIM LAFFERTY MEMORIAL RESEARCH FUND. 100% of all funds raise will be granted to innovative prostate cancer research.
Nearly every treatment breakthrough in prostate cancer in the last five years has been made possible, at least in part, by funding secured by ZERO. Our strategic alignment with this organization ensures that every dollar raised is put into the newly created Jim Lafferty Memorial Research Fund, which will grant funds to the most innovative prostate research in the country. In addition, it allows us to participate in a national effort to not only to reduce prostate cancer or alleviate the pain from the disease, but to end it.
EVERY donation, no matter how big or small, is important to us and will help us to educate, promote awareness, and fund research. With your contribution, you will be helping to build a valuable set of resources that will benefit prostate cancer patients and their families now, and hopefully make a difference in the treatment options of the future.
Deciding to Donate… There are many ways you can donate and make a difference. You can make a general donation, or donate in memory or honor of someone, or even donate a "gift in kind" of a service or item. A lot of companies have "matching gifts" programs, where they will match your donation to a recognized charity.
Gifts of Stock and Planned Gifts…You may find it beneficial to gift stock to or name Shining Down, Inc. as a beneficiary on many of your IRA, will, trust, or life insurance. Your broker or attorney should be able to offer you information on any tax benefit as well as answer any additional questions.
